Tuherahera is the charming little village of the main motu of the Tikehau atoll in the Tuamotu archipelago. Very quiet, airy, with often simple fare and surrounded by flowery gardens, the village can be visited on foot or by bicycle. At the northern end of the Motu, one enjoys a beautiful view towards the neighboring islets and the turquoise lagoon. Also to be seen is the jetty that concentrates the activity of the atoll at each arrival of the schooners coming from Tahiti.
